Exploring the Geometry of Time and Space

Welcome to RESONANCE, A high-fidelity orbital and geocentric simulator, this application has been designed as an interactive bridge between celestial mechanics driven by NASA (JPL) algorithms and the observation of traditional astrological cycles.

This guide will help you navigate its interface, understand the phenomena you are viewing, and get the most out of its telemetry tools.

1. Fundamentals: What are you visualizing?

The simulator operates under two fundamental paradigms of observation, which you can switch between at any time from the left panel.

Orbital Perspective (Heliocentric)

In this mode, you are placed at a zenithal viewpoint above the Sun, observing the solar system as it is mechanically.

  • Educational value: It allows you to understand the relative speeds of the planets (how Mercury travels much faster than Saturn) and observe the true proportions of the solar system.

Geocentric (Celestial) Perspective

This is the human point of view. In this mode, the Earth becomes the immobile center of the canvas, and we observe how the rest of the celestial bodies (including the Sun) orbit around us.

  • Educational value: It is the basis of the historical astronomical navigation and astrology. It allows us to understand why, from our perspective, certain planets appear to "stop" or move backward, and how they visually align with the constellations of the zodiac.

2. Interface and Controls Guide

The Cosmic Resonance interface is designed with a minimalist approach (boutique) so as not to interfere with the display.

Time and Playback Controls (Lower Deck)

  • Player (Play/Pause): Start or stop the flow of time.

  • Rewind (Reset): Returns the simulation to day 0 of the selected date.

  • Speed Slider: Adjust how quickly the days pass. At low speeds you can observe precise transits; at high speeds you can reveal long-term geometric patterns.

  • Calendar (Top Right Corner): By clicking the calendar icon, you can set a specific "Origin Date." The engine will then calculate the exact planetary ephemerides for that point in history (past or future).

Display Settings (Side Panel)

Access the main menu by clicking on the three-line (hamburger) icon in the top left.

  • Resonance Network (Orbital Mode): It traces connecting lines between Earth and other planets as they orbit. This reveals "sacred geometry" or synodic cycles, drawing precise mandalas (like the famous 5-pointed star or "Rose of Venus").

  • Zodiacal Houses (Geocentric Mode): Display the Tropical Zodiac wheel calibrated to the Vernal Equinox (0° Aries). It allows you to see the astrological sign of each celestial body in real time.

  • Royal Orbits: By default, the planets follow simplified circular orbits for easier geometric visualization. Enabling this option applies the actual Keplerian eccentricity, revealing the true elliptical orbits.

  • Tail Length: Adjust the canvas's "memory." A short trail is useful for observing the current moment; a long trail (thousands of days) is necessary for the system to draw complete orbital patterns.

Telemetry and Manifest Bodies

On the side panel, you can turn each celestial body on or off (eye icon). On the main screen, you'll see a micro panel or Telemetry HUD with vital information updated in real time:

  1. Planet Name: Abbreviated to 3 letters (e.g., VEN, MAR) or 1 letter on mobile devices.

  2. Exact Degree and Sign: It shows the exact mathematical degree (from 0° to 29°) within the corresponding zodiac sign (Ex. 14th ARI).

  3. State of Motion (Orbital Dynamics):

    • [ D ] (Direct): The planet naturally progresses through the zodiac signs.

    • [ ST ] (Stationary): The exact moment of tension where the planet reduces its speed to 0 before changing direction.

    • [XR] (Retrograde): Due to the optical illusion created by the different orbital speeds relative to Earth, the planet appears to move backwards in the zodiac.

3. How to get the most out of it? (Use Cases)

This tool is designed for both experienced professionals and curious minds.

For astrological study: Place the simulation in perspective Geocentric, activate the Zodiacal Houses and establishes the date of a person's birth or an important event. It runs the simulation at low speed to identify the exact date a planet will enter retrograde (RX) or when it will cross into a new zodiacal house.

For geometric and synodic contemplation: Put the simulation into perspective Orbital, It isolates only the Sun, Earth, and Venus. It activates the Resonance Network, establishes the Wake Length Turn the volume up to the maximum and increase the playback speed. In just a few minutes, you'll see how the space-time relationship between Earth and Venus draws a perfect five-petaled mandala, materializing the mathematics of nature.

For use on mobile screens and presentations: If you need a clear view, you can use the switches to turn the lights off. Background Stars or the Telemetry Labels. Use the Vertical zoom control (located on the right side of the screen) by sliding up (+) or down (-) to perfectly frame the simulation on your device, regardless of its size.
