Home and Settings
- Microphone Access: When the application loads, the browser will request permission to access the microphone. This step is essential for the algorithm to process the audio signal in real time.
- Frequency Reference: By default, the system uses the standard of 440 Hz (A4). If you need to work with alternative tunings (such as 432 Hz), you can adjust the value manually on the top panel.
Tuning Modes
VibraTune has three specialized interfaces:
- Radial Mode (Stroboscopic): This is the most accurate method. Observe the rotating rings: if they move to the right, the note is high; to the left, it is low. The note is perfectly in tune when the rings remain stationary.
- Needle Mode: A traditional display using an analog gauge. Locate the center of the dial until the needle illuminates in your preferred color, indicating minimal deviation.
- Chord Recognizer: This mode identifies the harmony of several notes sounding simultaneously. It is ideal for checking chord structures on guitars or keyboards.

- Around: For surgical precision, use the tool in a space with as little ambient noise as possible.
- Attack of the note: Pluck the string or note clearly and let the sound stabilize for a second to get a steady reading.
- Bass Tuning: VibraTune's motor is optimized to capture very low fundamental frequencies, making it ideal for electric basses and double basses.
